We are thrilled to announce one of our absolute live highlights for 2026: SWEEPING DEATH will be supporting DEATH ANGEL at Backstage Werk in Munich on December 6, 2026!

As part of their "ACT III European Tour 2026," Bay Area thrash legends DEATH ANGEL will return to Europe this December. The program features a very special set: "Act III" will be performed live in its entirety. Released in 1990, the band's third album is considered one of their defining works and includes songs such as "Seemingly Endless Time," "Veil Of Deception," and "A Room With A View."

With VIO-LENCE, another band from the legendary San Francisco Bay Area is also part of the tour. This brings together two names that have helped shape American thrash metal for decades.

SWEEPING DEATH will open the evening

For every date on the tour, DEATH ANGEL looked for a local opening band. After the application phase ended, the entries were reviewed by the band, and an opener was selected for each city. For Munich, the choice fell on SWEEPING DEATH.

For us, this is not just a massive honor, but another opportunity to bring our sound to the stage in front of an international metal audience. Naturally, we will also be performing material from our current album "Devotion To The Absurd Night".

And Munich is long since familiar territory for us. We are all the more excited to tear up the Backstage Werk together with DEATH ANGEL and VIO-LENCE this time.
